William P. (B.J.) Nichols, Jr. was born and raised in Indianapolis.  He is a 1987 graduate of Indiana University’s School of Business.  B.J. has been the president and primary owner of Reis-Nichols jewelers since 1986.  As the company’s President, B.J. provides the vision and leadership that drives the dynamics of his family-owned business.  Under B.J.’s leadership, the company has earned various awards and recognitions including being considered one of the top 20 jewelers in the country and recently voted #1 jeweler in Indianapolis according to an independent survey.  Reis-Nichols is also a select member of the American Gem Society. 

B.J. is a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America.  He is also a member of the Gemological Institute of America’s Alumni Association and the American Watch Guild.  He was a “40 Under 40” Award Recipient from the Indiana Business Journal in 1995.  He has served on the board for the National Kidney Foundation, the Columbian Club and the St. Vincent Foundation.  Today, he is an active member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and serves on the Board of Directors for Jewelers of America.

B.J. lives in Zionsville with his wife and two children and is a member of Zionsville Presbyterian Church.  He has many hobbies and interests, but is especially passionate about building and flying model helicopters and competitively racing motocross bikes.
