Titanium is incredibly hard, lightweight, and resistant to corrosion. Traditionally reserved for the engineering and aerospace industries, titanium has only recently been applied to jewelry and its popularity is growing quickly. Roughly one-third the weight of gold, titanium is gaining popularity for wedding bands and watches. Many men find titanium watches and bands very easy to get used to wearing because of its light weight and comfort.

The strength of pure titanium requires that rings be forged out of a solid block of metal. For this reason, titanium rings cannot be resized.

The strength of titanium makes it an excellent candidate for those who are not easy on jewelry. While titanium may show slight scratches, it can be easily polished to keep it looking new.
