Reis-Nichols is excited and proud to present our
18th Annual Watch Event, May 2-3. For the last 18 years, we have been showcasing
a magnificent collection of timepieces and this year’s event will be
no different. We have been hard at work to bring you the best and most popular
Swiss-made watch brands in every price range. Similar to the years past, we
will have representatives from a variety of brands in our stores to help guide
you to the perfect watch at exceptional savings!
This year we’re c elebrating the year of the chronograph. The word itself means “an instrument for recording time with great accuracy.” First invented in 1816,
chronograph watches are also used a stopwatches and work by pushing a start
button located at the two o’clock position. Most chronograph watches
feature three wheels: one to record time in seconds, the next in minutes, and
the last measuring in hours. These three wheels interact with each other to
record how long it has been since the start/stop button has been pushed. Each Swiss watch brand we carry at Reis-Nichols offers chronograph models.
